• Analysis of plant diversity at species and community level in Mediterranean environments
• Investigations on habitats - vegetation types - plant species and their conservation status in protected areas, with special reference to Natura 2000 network
• Habitat monitoring and mapping
• Plant phenology and seasonal changes of natural and disturbed vegetation.
